We all have gone through a phase where our body feels exhausted and worn out even if all we did was rest throughout the day. The feeling of being useless and not doing the tasks daily can lead to sour mood. Weariness, lassitude and being tired all the time can have various negative impact on our body, physically or mentally.  Some times doing the simple tasks as having a shower can be so burdensome. Taking a lecture can be tired inducing and that my friends is not something anyone should experience. There can be various medical conditions where certain medicines can induce sleepiness and lethargic feelings. If you are not under medicinal impact than the deficiency of certain vitamins and minerals can lead to the constant feeling of tiredness.

BUT how do I stay active? Well for that you must have strong will power to start. It is not easy to wake up one day and start doing things that can make you active as it can lead to instant burnout. Here are 10 ways on how to start feeling active and energetic. Try keeping these things in your mind if you want to feel active and less tired.

1.Healthy and nutritious meal

 

We have indulged over selves in diet and calories count that we have forgotten what healthy and wholesome meal is. A healthy, hearty and nutritious meal is one filled with carbohydrates, proteins, fats and minerals. You need to have a proper meal for the optimum functioning of your body and mind.  Try having a meal packed with deliciousness and healthy stuff once a day. Incorporate meat into your diet as it is important for the proper functioning of your muscles and brain.  If you want to have a chocolate cake, don’t stop yourself. A balanced diet is the way of eating everything the market has to offer in a moderate portion.

Food is essential for your body; you just can’t switch solid diet with liquid diet. Make sure you are eating healthy and enough for your body to function at its best.

 

2. Water and hydration

 

Water is important for your cells, which in return are important for your life. Stay hydrated. Water is essential part of life on earth, drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. You can also try having fruit juices as they are sweet and delicious treats but also keeps your body hydrated and energetic. Try having water with infused flavors like cinnamon, lemon or mint.



Drink water that is at room temperature as it is optimum and best for your body. Try having a glass of warm or normal temperature water everyday in the morning as see the results yourself on how just keeping your body hydrated can boost up your energy. Just like plants who need water as necessity we humans also need water for proper functioning of our body and mind

 

3. Vitamins

 

Like water vitamins are also necessary for your body but in short quantity. Studies have shown that deficiency of Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin C can cause tiredness of body. It is advised to consult your doctor or start having vitamins from sources of nature.

Vitamin D is found in nature, bask in early morning sunrise for the daily dosage of vitamin D for your body. Vitamin A and vitamin C are found in various fruits and vegetables around you. Try taking fruits and vegetables on daily basis to replenish your lost nutrients and minerals. Long term deficiency of these minerals can cause depression and various other disease

 

4.  Small tasks

 

Try making a to-do-list of all the tasks that you want to accomplish in a day as it is easy to navigate what you have set for the day. Take small steps so that you do not feel burn out by sudden burden of work. After accomplishing a task mark done on your list as it can provide you with the boost of energy and satisfaction of a work done for the day.

 

5.                    Any form of exercise

The key to being active and staying active is exercise. Exercise is important for your body to work. Try out small in the start. Cardio is the best possible way to start out with exercise and make your way up from there. Stretching and meditation can be your best friend to stay active through out the day as it can help you think straight and get your thoughts in line. Exercise is the best way to keep unnecessary and negative thoughts aside.

 


6.                    Stop stressing out

 

Give yourself break. Stop over burdening yourself. It is okay to stop and take rest. Suppose you have been studying for hours and are starting to feel burn out and you can not focus properly, it is your sign to close the books as relax for a moment. Give you brain and body rest. Stress is often recorded as the main reason people feel it difficult to accomplish tasks and they leave those tasks to another day.

 

7.                    Give yourself “me time”

 

To overcome your tiredness and to stay active you need to focus on yourself. Give yourself space and time. Fix a portion of your day to focus on yourself.

 

8.                    Shower every morning

Take shower every morning that will help you stay active and fresh. Start of your day with a nice long shower, wear your favorite dress and kick start the day with motivation, enthusiasm and energy.

 

9.                    Indulge in a hobby

A hobby is any activity that brings you pleasure and joy. Start doing something in your free time instead of lying down and scrolling through your phone mindlessly. Try baking or cooking if you enjoy the process. Try paining and create master pieces. Take your time and find the niche you love and enjoy.
