What is a brownie? And why people enjoy a good fudgy brownie?

Well to answer that Brownies are a baked chocolatey goodness, that typically contain chocolate, eggs, butter, sugar, flour, and vanilla extract.  Although the ingredients are almost similar to what is used for a normal chocolate cake, except it doesn’t include baking powder, a brownie is denser and fudgier than a cake. There are different recipes of brownies on the internet according to people’s preference, some people may want to produce a fudgier brownie or other may want a cakier brownie depending on the ingredients or method of combination that is used to create the delicious and heavenly chocolate delights.

Some brownie recipes include rising agent such as baking powder to increase the rise of the brownies and make a relative cakier brownie. Some people say that including a rising agent make a more cake like brownies rather than a fudgier one that gives it a rich, dense flavor most people prefer.

Some brownie recipes include additional ingredients to enhance the texture and flavor of a typical brownie, people may also include add ins such as nuts, peanut butter, chocolate chips, coconut or fruit to enhance the flavors of a brownie. Others include a chocolate glaze or frostings of different types.  When adding in any dry fruits or chocolate make sure to cover them in flour and them add them so they don’t sink in the bottom and are evenly spread out through out the delicious brownies and give you the sweetness or nuttiness in every bite.

Some bakers use melted compound chocolate in addition to the coco powder to enhance the chocolatey flavor. Some even substitute certain ingredients to make these delicious treats available to everyone. With advancement in the food industry, bakers are able to swap the core ingredients with others to create a delicacy that can be enjoyed by people with food allergies.

Brownies can be baked in various shapes, but the most used shape is square blocks of brownies.

Brownies are served warm or cool depending on your own preference. They are enjoyed by public in both ways The temperature of a brownie depends on the recipe and your own preference. Whereas some exceptions are that, if you’re serving brownies with ice cream, or any frozen desert you’ll want a nice, warm, gooey brownie as a partner to match.
