Being tired all the time is such a broad term to discuss. Fatigue and tiredness has negative effect on our body and mind. Over working yourself and the constant work can lead to feel burn-out and exhausted. There can be medical reasons why your body feels heavy and tired even after taking proper rest. Believe me I have gone through this where you whole body feels heavy and drained even though you have done no hard work.

1. Lack of Sleep

 Sleep is the best way to recharge our bodies. After a long day of work or even after school having an afternoon nap is recommended to replenish the energy for the rest of the day. When we sleep, our body restores its strength and energy and our muscles relax after a long hectic day. We need to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night for proper function of the body and mind, but if you don't get enough sleep, you'll feel tired throughout the day. Your Sleeping pattern can affect your day-to-day life. If you're feeling tired, try taking a nap or going to bed earlier. If you sleep late at night than try fixing your schedule to keep your sleeping behavior in an order

Lack of sleep is one of the biggest reasons people get tired throughout their day. Not having enough sleep can have diverse affect on your work and life.  When we don’t have enough sleep, our bodies experience fatigue and lack of energy that can result in being tired for days. People who work night shifts or those who are constantly working tend to suffer from chronic insomnia. If you find yourself feeling tired and exhausted even after sleeping, it may be due to insufficient rest. Try sleeping before midnight and wake up to see the sunrise.

 

 2. Exercise

 Exercise helps us stay fit and keeps us energized. Exercise is the way to keep your muscle moving. A person who works out or even go on a daily run or work is much energized throughout the day as compared to those who do not exercise. Try doing some physical activity before bedtime or early in the morning. It could help you fall asleep faster and make you feel less tired in the morning. Try meditation as it also helps to calm the brain. The more you make your muscle move the more active your body become and the less you feel tired or exhausted throughout the day.

 

 3. Stress Management

 Stress affects how well we function during the day. Stress can also be a major reason of you feeling tired Try to manage your stress levels by exercising, meditating, listening to relaxing music, eating a balanced diet or engaging in any other activities that reduce your anxiety and panic attacks. Stress affects the body in many ways, including causing muscle pain and headaches. Chronic stress can cause anxiety, depression, and irritability. Stress can also result in over eating or under eating. These mental conditions can lead to poor concentration and fatigue.

 

 4. Eat Right

I cannot stress enough on how important it is to have a healthy and balanced diet. Eating right can improve your mood and keep you feeling energetic. Take regular meals throughout the day. Eat your vegetables, proteins and carbs. Make sure you eat foods high in protein and fiber, including lean meats, whole grains, nuts, and vegetables. Avoid sugary snacks and processed foods instead snack on nuts and some dark chocolate. A balanced diet is much better than starving yourself or overeating.




 5. Drink Enough Water

 Your body need water for maintain the optimum working of the internal body systems. Drinking plenty of water helps flush toxins out of your system. Drink at least 2 Liters or 8 classes of water throughout the day. Keep yourself hydrated.

 

 6. Get Proper Rest

 Getting proper rest is just as important as eating right and drinking enough water. We are humans not machines, our body is not made to work 24/7. Aim to go to sleep and wake up at the same time each day. Try not to watch TV or use your phone close to bedtime as it can mess with your sleep schedule.


 7. Relax

After a hectic day or even if you are at home doing nothing having a long shower can help you get your thoughts together. Relaxing techniques can help you unwind and calm down. Take a hot bath, listen to calming music, read a book, or take a walk outside to help clear your mind from all the negative thoughts and emotions.


8. Hormone imbalance

 Hormonal imbalances can result in low energy and fatigue. The hormones also play a significant role on your mood and behaviors. Get your hormones checked regularly and keep them in balance for proper body functions as sometimes hormones can be the reason you feel lethargic throughout the day.

Adrenal fatigue occurs when the adrenal glands become depleted of hormones. Symptoms of adrenal fatigue include fatigue, lethargy, and brain fog.


9. Vitamin B12 deficiency

Vitamins are essential for your body. Start taking vitamins in your twenties. Vitamin B12 deficiency causes nerve damage and muscle weakness and can result in tiredness and fatigue You may experience numbness, tingling, and muscle cramps.


10. Medication Side Effects

 There are times when medication becomes necessary in order to live a normal life. However, sometimes medication side effects can become frustrating and painful. Sometimes certain medications can cause tiredness and can drain your body from energy. A few common side effects include headaches, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth, weight gain/loss, sweating, skin rashes, insomnia, and nervousness.
