Method

In a pan slightly warm up the milk and add in dry yeast and sugar, set it aside for 15 minutes for the yeast to rise. Rising yeast is the crucial part of the recipe if after 15 min the yeast has not risen either the milk is not warm or either the yeast you are using is not alive anymore.

In a separate bowl sieve in your dry ingredients. Add in your Flour, and salt, and mix thoroughly.

In a small bowl mix the egg and butter to make a homogeneous mixture. Mix your dry ingredients with the egg and butter mixture.

Gradually add in your yeast mixture and knead your dough till you form a soft dough that bounces when poked. The dough at first is sticky so don't panic, the more you knead the dough the more soft and fluffy the cinnamon rolls are. Grease an air-tight container and place your dough.
