Chocolate Chunk Cookies *Baking Recipes*


 Chocolate Chunk Cookies (3C's)

1/2 cup unsalted softened butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4  cup granulated sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp salt
1 Room temp egg
1/2 tsp baking powder
1,1/2 cup All purpose flour
 2-ounce dark Chocolate chunks
 2-ounce semi-sweet chocolate chunks










Formation of Cookie Dough

Melt 1/2 cup of butter to which add your brown sugar, granulated white sugar, and salt. Mix them together until form a smooth mixture. Add vanilla extract and an egg to the mixture and combine well. Sieve your flour and baking powder into the wet ingredients and with help of a spatula fold the dry ingredients. Be careful to not over-mix the mixture, fold until all the flour is incorporated into the wet mixture and it forms a dough. Fold in your chocolate chunks at this point and fold again. Set the cookie dough in the fridge for minimum 30 min, after 30 min form cookie dough balls, and set aside in the fridge again for 15-20 min to ensure you achieve those perfect round cookies.



Oven settings and Baking Time

Pre-heat the oven to 350F for 15 minutes and bake the cookies for about 8-10 min.
And ta-da there you have your homemade chocolate chunk cookies
